This isn't the solution but I was kind of bored so I tried an experiment and used my Mouse as a foot pedal and used the tuner I can now click any of the strings as often as I want and contently tune my guitar, I've got so good at it that I can scroll up and down, right and left click and have both hands free for typing or playing my guitar and my feet get a free work out, does sound a bit mad but it was fun having a go, necessity is the Mother of invention as they say don't Know how easy it is for Clancy to change the tuner to repeat, might not be that easy
