The best solution is a new nut, but I have repaired quite a few with super glue and bone dust. I make some bone dust with an old nut or saddle and a file. Fill the slot on the nut with the dust, then add a drop of superglue to the dust. It will harden almost instantly. Make sure it's good and dry and then re-file the slot. You will need a file that can cut the thin slot required.
