Hallelujah
I found the words on the Internet Monday evening and did a quick recording Tuesday evening. Forgive the clams, each part was a single take. I was anxious to hear it. I love this tune and I'm glad I finally got around to learning it. I'm playing in G, capoed at the third fret, so it's in Bb. It works good here for my voice.

Man, that thread just won't go away! But it's a forum classic, so I'm glad to see it pop up again for new listeners. One of your best vocal efforts RB.

Guess I missed this one first time around too. Beautiful song, beautifully performed!

"16 month old thread rises from the dead"
and that says it all doesn't it?
good songs fade away. Great songs like this one performed at this level don't.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
