Hallelujah

I found the words on the Internet Monday evening and did a quick recording Tuesday evening. Forgive the clams, each part was a single take. I was anxious to hear it. I love this tune and I'm glad I finally got around to learning it. I'm playing in G, capoed at the third fret, so it's in Bb. It works good here for my voice.

Hey RockerBob,
Following a link to vote for a song posted by Kirk on a Blues page. I nosed around and found a cover acoustic section. On it was a version of Hallelujah. The girl sounded european to me but what do I know.
Perhaps you would be willing to post your version for kicks.
Here is the link

Don't forget to let us know if you go for it.
You have my vote.
Mike

Hey RB,
I was watching a musical tribute to Leonard Cohen this morning called I'm Your Man. Cohen fans will like it as other artists take the stage and perform his music, with interjections of interviews and commentary.

But after hearing the version of Hallelujah, sung by Rufus Wainright, I turned to my wife and said, "I prefer RockerBob's version!"

She says... "Yup, so do I."

So I had to come back to this tune and download the chords you used to that I can play around with this tune again!

For those who haven't yet heard this, it's worth a double listen!

What they said before me, with bells on because it's nearly Christmas.
Outstanding,
