I haven't been on this forum for awhile. But I've been playing guitar everyday. I really want to buy PlaneTalk. So, I just want to know if anyone got charge with duty. My mom is always like if you buy something from somewhere outside Canada you get charged with duty.

So maybe any of the Canadian members can give me an answer .

To me it doesn't really matter if I get charge duty. I just want to improve more .

Hi, silent.

I send these out 'letter' class ... there's no need for me to attach a customs slip, so there will be no duty. As long as it's 'printed matter only' which it is (even the DVD), it can go out letter class.

I wrote PlaneTalk for all those players who have a good understanding of the basics: they know the basic chord shapes, understand how barre chords work; players who can pick out a melody line and play scales; players who may have started to dabble in the art of improvisation ... players who want to be able to use the whole fretboard, not just the first few frets. Players who have 'hit the wall' and are looking for that next phase in their learning. Players who want to know what the 'trick' is.
That's me!

Well I finally took the plunge! I ordered PT and now it's sit back and wait on the mail....

I figure if I am not as ready as I think I am then I can always come back to PT when I am....I just couldn't wait any longer and I am frustrated in my current plateau!

If everything has a point, well then I must have one, too.

Congrats Dawn. Now you can join the P.T. forum. It will make understanding the material a lot easier.

I'm assuming that I have to wait to get PT (in hand) before I am allowed into the forum?

Congrats, Dawn. I'm in the exact same boat, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of my PT package also ....should be any day now!

Hi D-Dawn ... I just OKed your account at the PT forum, but I do recommend that you wait til you've read the book, viewed the DVD before visiting. It will all make much more sense.
