seen "saddel" instead of saddle {as in bridge}

don't know if this will help in the search, but some refer to the pick-ups as pup's

I prefer pick ups they don't pee all over the house etc. and chew your shoes

Thanks Kenny.

Nothing is more discouraging than unappreciated sarcasm.

Not sure how the search will work but some misspelled words (guitar related) might be

strumming - struming
tuning - tunning
bass - base
knobs - nobs
amp - amplifier - amplifire
acoustic - (I've seen this word spelled more ways than a guitar has frets)

what about 2 words together .. like
drop D - dropped D --- when searching for songs and threads in such a tuning

when you think about it.. the list can be almost endless. We have unlimited capacity for getting things wrong.

Best of luck with it,
Michael - Micheal

what about a spell check feature before submitting a search, or a suggested word before submitting?

Not good Enough...

'pickups' and 'pick-ups' are both legitimate spellings, the latter less so, but 'pick ups' is also seen.
