How can we thank thee
Clancy and Kirk?
There are so many ways
That you bring music to our lives
On each and every day.

Without your skills
We all would suck
And sound more like
Some dying duck
Plucking here
And plucking there
Causing friends
To stand and glare

But your great teaching
Lights the way
To our salvation
As we play
Now we twang away
With glee
Making music
Loud and free
Your guiding hand
Has brought salvation
To many lands
And every nation.

Some pricey toys and five guitars-
At least that is the count so far-
I have acquired since I’ve known you
It’s made me poor, but I won’t sue
It’s all been worth it for the joys
Of making music with my toys)
