Hybrid Picking Demo Video

Here is a video I put together as a demonstration of hybrid picking. That is, fingerpicking while holding a flatpick. I'm not much of a teacher, but I was having fun playing with 2 cameras and video editting software, which allowed me to inset a closer view of my right hand. Anyway, this is almost 10MB, so it might be a while if you are on dialup.

Argh! I want to play that so bad. Can't find the tab for "Different
Times", though. May have to tab it out myself.

//edit.

Okay, so either I'm apparently horrible at tabbing, my guitar is
way out of tune, or this piece isn't in standard tuning.

Yeah. Nuts to this. I just bought his book instead.

Amazon.com: Laurence Juber - The Guitarist Anthology Volume 2 Book & CD (Acoustic Masterclass): Laurence Juber: Books

Apparently he uses DADGAD a lot.

gonna try to convert it to Standard tuning; or if that's too difficult DADGBE. Not a fan of alternate tunings, really.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
