Didge 101

We have had such fun. Here is my first effort on the didgeridoo. It's in the key of D

How did the family take it? They were blown away....of course.

Eddie's been doing the same sounds for years on the toilet each morning AND he can change pitch.
Very different Carol, I think it could make some great background sounds.

When all else fails, read the instructions.

John,
I sittiing (underlined sitting)in the room thinking of a song of where I could use Carol's Didgi tune.
Things began to sputter like hell and and I thought "oh swell", got to come up with a whole different tune.
You voyeur!

Thank you everyone for showing an interest. I had been distracted by my bleep interference and actually playing guitar!! But as Chris has tried to do something creative with my original blow (who knows how anyone could do something with so little - he must be an artist) I have re-engaged with my didge.

I can now blow bubbles more or less continuously through a straw under water - doing it on the didge is much harder because you have to move so much more air.....but, I will practice a bit and see what I can come up with. It will take at least a week of practice to get anything more than a string of consecutive burps, but I'll see what I can do.

Ah Carol I commend you on your abilities on a rather difficult instrument!! One of my clients had a real abiriginol one and I tried it. I was so light headed and seeing stars that I gave it up after a few tries! Guess I will stick to the pan flute, which does the same thing, but not as bad. Can you get authentic ones down there?
