Leaning Toward the Dark Side
Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been on the road too much with work.
Here's my musical battle between playing acoustic guitar and/or electric guitar.

Just a few more, and I can burn my own RockerBob CD! I need it for my 30 minute drive to work!
This is one has more electric in it that a lot of your stuff, which shows diversity. I was thinking of you this weekend while working out some Roger McGuinn 12 string stuff--turn turn turn. Wish I had the Rickenbacher I saw in the background of one of the photos you posted a while ago.
Thanks

I don't have a Rick 12. I've always wanted one and when I finally had money in hand to pickup a used one in great condition, I found that the neck was just to small for me. I couldn't play it. I have a Variax that does a fairly convincing simulation of the Rick 12.

Do you, or did have a 6 string Rickenbacher? Or I could be mistaken, it was pic you posted of you studio setup a while back on the acoustic guiter forum.
Yeah-they are not cheap.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
