Hi thodwris, Welcome to the forum,

I don't think there is such a thing as normal progress as everyone learns at different speeds but you're doing well, you've got some songs down, you're playing acoustic and electric which do have different demands on a player so that's cool, as long as you're moving along with your practice and still learning as you go along your on the right track, playing for people though either on line or say friends or family can give you a good gauge of your progress, I do understand this is difficult if you're shy but it is worth having a go even if it's just playing to one other person and asking them to give an honest opinion, it is sometimes hard to get a real perspective on our ability without any feedback form listeners, if you've got anything you can record on it can be useful as you can get a better idea of how you're playing and how you're playing will sound to other people so that's worth thinking about as well.
