Pros of the Xi:
-Cool shape
-Cool color
-Can be played sitting down
-Metal all the way!!!
-Good for scaring the folks at community jazz band
-Pickups work like EMGs but without batteries (Dimarzio DeActivators)
Cons of the Xi:
-its more pointier than the Jackson, which means it could get scratched easier
-More expencive
-I've been told that it gets neck-heavy when you play it sitting
-Weighs like a brick!!!
-The notorious-for-going-outta-tune Edge 3 bridge
-"For metal use only"
Pros of the Jackson:
-Tremolo is not low profile style, which means my EVH DTUNA will fit on it (I haven't been able to use the Dtuna with my RG because of the trem)
-Cheaper than the Xi
-Balanced shape
-I've been wanting it for awhile
-Better trem than the edge 3
-Lighter than the Xi and even my RG
Cons of the Jackson:
-It is still a pointy axe, which could mean it gets scratched easy
-Can't be played sitting because of the shape
-Even playing standing up takes getting used to
