Guitar pickups
Hello everyone. Well I hope some of you can help me with my decision. I have a fender squier guitar, I want to replace pickups, so the problem is I want kind of a modern strat sound with a bit of David gilmour sound. Ive been reading reviews about duncans, di marzios and lace pickups. Ive found a lot of useful stuff and ive done my research on some of the artists I like and see all use like very different stuff. So if anyone please can help me with some ideas on choosing some good pickups for that type of sound. I do not play heavy metal or anything. I do play some distorted sounds but very overdrive, also Im into bluesy, gilmour, jimmy page kind of stuff. But i also want a good clear sound in my pickups, (form what ive read lace are very clear) So if anynone can give me any opinion about any good combinations of pups, Ill be very thankful.
