Born With it Blues Collab

This was born out of a reply from JohnnyDoxx, referring to how one of my recent threads about my multiple personalities had the makings of a blue's tune. With the help of StarSailor, here's what we came up with........

Born With It Blues Collab.mp3

JohnnyDoxx - Lyrics,Vox {Wrote & performed-Vs1&5, Rhythm & Drums}
StarSailor - Lyrics & Vox {Wrote & performed-Vs3&4}
X4StringDrive - Lyrics,Vox {Wrote & performed-Vs2&6, guitar walking line & Final Mix}
Chorus - Performed by all - {Lyrics X4}
Accompaniments - BIAB{band in a box}

Lyrics
{Vs1}
I came to this morning, and staggered down to the liquor store,
I went in the mental health clinic, which I had always passed before,
They said 'get lost you creep, go back out to the street,
they threw all of myselves right out the door.

{Vs2}
The 12 of me kept walking, clearing the fog inside our head
whats wrong with those providers, it's not like we asked for seperate beds
now we're all confused, and feeling so abused
wanting to escape from the blues was all we said

{Chorus}
I got those born with it blues
like some front page headline news
everyone knows I'm insane
that wierdness runs thru my veins
but they don't understand
I'm a lonely lonely man
paying never ending dues
for those oh...born with it blues

{Vs3}
We strolled thru-out the park, yeah till it was almost dark
Then we went off to a bar, hoping some spirits would hit the mark
But they told us with no fear, we don't want your kind here
Your putting the customers off ... what a lark

{Vs4}
Just wanted to talk some and sit about in the ol corner
I wished that the welcome, was just a whee bit warmer
Don't know why people are lead, to dislike like the friends in my head
We're wanting to escape from the blues is all we said

{Chorus}

{Vs5}
Boozin' in the alley, yeah we're in a cloud
Sittin' by myselves, we like to talk out loud
and people pass us by, won't look us in the eye,
Who cares, we're our own little crowd.

{Vs6}
The moral of this story, for those who don't understand
aw what it's like to be me, living in this fantisy land
that it takes all kinds of friends, to survive until the end
just keep on doing the best that you can

{Chorus}

Nice collaboration! You really need the "All Drunks Choir" behind you. That's when the audience in the club joins in.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
