Guitar for Beginners and Beyond Newsletter - May 2, 2008
________________________________________________

Hi fellow twanger. Just a short one this time.

New Guitar Lesson Index with Flash Lesson Player

Up until now my guitar lessons have been scattered over several forums which made sorting through or even finding them all quite time consuming... because of this, I have put together an index of my lessons and sorted them alphabetically. The Lesson Index can be found here: http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/fo...rksfreelessons

Be sure to bookmark this page as it will be updated every time I add a new lesson. I also added a neat new Flash Lesson Player so you can hear mp3 arrangements of each lesson... this will make choosing the next lesson you'd like to learn much easier: http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/fo...rksfreelessons

New Master Lesson - Rio Bound - Bossa Nova

The free Bossa Nova lesson I put together last year has attracted an unbelievable 360,000 views at my YouTube page since I posted it there. People love the Bossa Nova it seems, so I came up with a new one I call 'Rio Bound'. Because it's a fairly lengthy and complex piece, I turned it into a paid downloadable Master Lesson for the 'beyonds' at Guitar for Beginners and Beyond.
If you're interested you can check it out here: Rio Bound - Bossa Nova

The free Bossa Nova Rhythm Guitar lesson featured on YouTube can be found here: Bossa Nova Rhythm Guitar

That's it for this week, enjoy the lessons, enjoy the site!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
