whenever you want, you can add in Hammer ons and pull offs to the exercise i gave you, on the first exercise i gave you just add a 7,8, or 9 between the two 6s on the E string. you could try practicing with or without the hammer ons and pull offs,

personally I like just alternate picking the notes your supposed to hammer on/pull off because I find that when I hammer on/pull off in those notes i tend to rush them and I lose my tempo, and my right hand slows down. if I alternate pick them i can keep my tempo and i wont miss a beat. its all up to how you play and what feels right for you
