Great Website

I came across this site while looking for information on MIDI. It's a great site, IMO. Not sure if it has been mentioned before or not.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad others are enjoying it too.

I've been reading the book "MIDI for Musicians", which is a great book, especially the first 2 chapters. I'm into the heavy stuff now, so it's a little slower read. However, I found this site and within about 30 minutes of reading through their stuff, I think I learned what I really need to know about MIDI.

There's also other great information, especially for recording, that I know I will go back to.

P.S I so excited....I found my Home Recording for Dummies Book. ..been missing for a couple of months. Thought I forgot it when I last visited my brother out of town! Now I can put it right next to my PC Recording fo Dummies....not that I am dumb or anything, it just makes me feel better somehow - like there is hope for me learning this stuff or something twisted like that!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
