Hello again Dave...
So I guess I understand now that in a trill you use only the left hand and in tapping you use both hands.Up to now,as both of these teckniques are the same thing and produce the same sound(I am not refering in pitch),I thought that they are one and the same.Well now I know the difference and I thank you very much for that!!...
About bending,I know there are half and full bendings.Up to now I find difficulties in doing a whole bend, especially on the acoustic(for a couple of times after doing a whole bend that string would get out of tone ).I am stiil learning the whole bend and getting back to the note that I started(hitting any note on a fret, doing a whole bend and coming back to that note)and then going on from there to continue a solo or a melody.I guess that I don't have the experience yet,but I don't mind.Someday I will get that one right...
So for another time thank you very much for the lessons and your reply,I really appreciate it!Be always well!!
All the best,
Theo

That is exactly what I meant, sliding the fretted note a half step sharp or flat.So that would be a trill, interesting! Is it called the same if I slide a whole tone or maybe two notes?...
When I said about sliding a whole chord I was refering to this.Hold down a chord, strum it once and then slide my fingers on the fretboard as the chord continues ringing. It doesn't work with all chords but with some the tone is very interesting.I would please like to know if something like this really exists or if I am only kidding myself...
For hammer-on's and pull-off 's I just see them as the tapping tecknique broken down to it's two basic steps. These two combined together give us the tapping tecknique....
Please excuse my poor language and the really bad way of explaining things...
Thank you very much for replying and for the useful lessons.Be always well...
All the best,
Theo

Becoming a great guitarist has less to do with fancy moves than it does becoming a master of the basics and learning musicianship.
It's not what you can't do. It's how you play what you already know.
