And it's free! I actually found it yesterday, but didn't play with it long enough to realize it does do what I want. Not as pretty as the $210 or $159 programs that I found, but it does the trick. It does multi-tracking as well, so if you want to be able to do 8 tracks, it costs $19. I don't need that. It's called Anvil Studio

It's a weird layout in a way....the help menu is displayed on the bottom of the screen. Might be okay at first, but I think it might be annoying after you know the program. It's quite possible that you can turn it off too. There is an online support and forum too.
I'm so happy. I now have standard notation for the songs I wrote!
