Limerick warning!
No-one has mentioned the Christmas pud!
I really did think, that somebody woulde
We really did have it
It’s become quite a habit
And it tasted as goode, as a goode pud shoulde.
Next week, we plan to have Turkey with gravy
It’s a shame to restrict it to Monday and pay-day
Or only Thanksgiving or Christmas time when,
Some poor folk must manage, and make do with hen.
OK my goode friends, has anyone picked it?
I’m back on my food theme, and to make matters worse
I’ve given up trying to banish the couplet
I suppose ‘cos this chatting, is not really verse.
Today I was busy, but in my spare time
I connected the keyboard, and it works every time
Now I have an adaptor with a positive tip
And DC, not AC, which confused me a bit.
The manual is 120 pages in length
So far I’m on 9, and it takes all my strength
Not to play with the ‘Voices’ and the big bass drum
I have to say though, it’s a barrel of fun.
I’m feeling the pressure to record you a song
But first I must master the flute and the gong
Two of my favourites are Chorus and Strings
But I don’t know yet, how to drive the damn thing.
