Guitar and Flute
This is something I did this morning inspired by Marshall Tucker Band. I laid down some rhythm and then played a lead over it. Then I played the flute over it and decided to pull the lead out. It's real short and a bit sloppy as everything I do in one take is. But I thought it sounded kind of cool so I'm posting it. I'd really like to do a MTB song with the flute so maybe I can pull that off soon.

Coolness, I'll be looking for it.... If you give me the separate tracks I'll try replaying the flute over it again.

Fly,
That was very nice flute playing. I think you ought to try the first mix with an acoustic track instead of an electric. It should give it a more mellow sound in the original.

Well, that came out as a real nice collaberation between the two of you.

Yeah X4 fixed it up real nice in the version he posted in the recording section. I wasn't really setting out to record anything I expected to post or I would have put more thought into it. The drawback to that is that my head starts hurting and then I go out and mow the lawn instead.

Here is a youtube of that tune with flute that you might like Fly. There is a second vid which has cleaner sound but, it is a bit political so you can find that one yourself. This tune always chokes me up.

Fly,
I listened to the Jefferson Airplane flute player. I think you did a great job on what you played.
