There was a lot of noise from the distorted track... and an obvious lack of tempo, those I will work on and are a large part of why that was a low standard, besides the fact that I only manage to play the same solo 2 out of 23 times.
That time and most others I miss something and "compensate" by slipping off into ad lib land... it gets me through on stage ok... but in the studio I get frustrated pretty quick trying to "get it perfect".
The bluesy piece there was an excerpt from Wind Cries Mary... which we do as a three piece, and I wandered off into my guitar solo with no backing track... duh. So I had to edit. I thought about trying to track in some rhythm... but was much easier to chop it short.
Thanks for the kind words everyone... I have a busy weekend on the music rehearsal, and unfortunately have a finish trim project for the local computer store next week... maybe I can get something that better illustrates "Burl's" ability. Its one sweet sounding guitar.
Remember, wherever you go... there you are.
