Write a list of all the things
That make me want to smile?
Things that make my heart beat faster
Things for which I’d walk a mile?
It’s not as easy, as some might think
Those good things to describe
This subject is a serious one
And hard to carry off with style.
And so I find I need more time
To choose and write them down
What to use, or to refuse….?
I’ll wait ‘till I get back from town.
