Brad Paisley uses
McVay G-benders on the majority of his guitars. He has a couple of B-benders, but says he prefers the sound of the G-bender. You can hear the G-Bender in many of his songs.

As to whether you should put one on your guitar or not - that's a subjective call. If you like the sound and think you could make use of it, why not?
