A lovely tune Chris and your vocals are spot on, it's a shame they're a bit muffled, could you post the lyrics so I can follow the story? Thanks.
When you look in to mixing take a look at panning I'm sure your recordings will benefit from that - it just means that you can move parts of your recording around e.g. you could move the vocals to the left a bit and the guitar to the right, the effect is that we'd hear your voice a bit more pronounced in the left speaker and your guitar a little better in the right. It's perfectly possible to pan voice only to one side and guitar only to the other but it doesn't sound good.
