Don't panic. Take a deep breath and start here.
Brand new to playing the guitar?...read this first.
Then scroll down the main page to Kirks' beginner lessons then Nelsonites strumming lessons. Kirks tune lessons are next. Just surf for an easy one to start with. Read some of the posts and you will find many tips and suggestions on which tunes to work on. Ask questions, the good folks here are always ready to help.

Hi Eddie , welcome to the family mate Dont panic, just do as our seniors here suggest, start patiently and take it 1 step at a time. Try to learn to enjoy everything you do and feel proud that you're gonna learn a beautiful instrument

No one can master every aspect of guitar playing, they just get better everyday.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
