kirssovo, you don't know how much I worked on that clapping sound to try to get it to sound more organic- I did net searches, effects up the wazoo, etc., basically everything but stand at the mic and clap myself. I may actually go back and do that sometime.
The tuning for the song is Drop-D. Pretty much the whole song is played on the 5th and 6th string. If I was any good at all on
slide, I probably would have done it, but I have a lot of practice ahead of me before I could pull that off.
BTW- any comments regarding how the vocals are sitting in the mix would be appreciated. I'm really trying to work on making them sound very clear but to not be so out-front that it sounds strange.
