Mis-Guided Youth

Here is a song I wrote while watching my son riding his , got me thinking wouldn't it be nice to get on a bike and ride , do all that crazy stuff kids do on their bikes , it has a little twist in it towards the end . ( reality )

I call it

Mis-Guided Youth

Legs are thumping
Heart is pumping
Sweat running down my brow

Whizzing in and out cars
I 'm travelling pretty fast
There's no speed limit for me now

Dodging the walkers
Abusing the talkers
Ain't got time to get in a row <----like a arguement pronounced row rhymes with now

Legs are thumping
Heart is pumping
Sweat running down my brow

I had to jump a gutter
Heart starts to flutter
Don't you even try to slow me down

I see the coppers ahead
One is shaking his head
My happiness turns to a frown

They are going to book me
Who is going to believe me
Why can't you all just leave me alone

Legs no longer pumping
But the heart is thumping
I was just re-living my youth
