PlaneTalk arrived today and I got something to say...

...well, I saw it on the doorstep and was stoked! I ran into the house, ripped it open, and started reading.

One thing: this book is horrible...if you don't know how to read! I'm not even all the way through yet and I can already tell this book is going to help me immensely. Thanks for the great book Kirk, I'll be singing this book's praises to my friends for years to come I imagine!

I'm glad it got there quickly, Alawiggle. Now you'll be able to make more sense of the PlaneTalkers' Forum!

Make sure you read it through a couple or three times -- holding a guitar so you can check it all for yourself -- watch the DVD a few times ... let it sink in just how simple that main concept is. Then, spend a lifetime practicing and exploring the possibilities knowing exactly what you're doing. Once you know what it is you're playing and you listen to it with that understanding, you will never look back.

Thanks for posting.

Yeah, I've read it once and I was actually pleasantly surprised at the comic book format. I had my doubts about how that would work, but it was surprisingly easy to understand. I've read the book through and watched the DVD by now, plan to do it again and start practicing.

Again, thanks for the great book and I encourage everyone reading this who hasn't bought the book to stop delaying and do it! This is peer pressure at it's finest right here, but you'll never regret it!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
