Our University song

The poem before the song...

Staring at the flickering screen
my eyes begin to numb
I go and grab some more caffeine
what have I now done
an office chair at home so plush
tucked in a corner space
just sitting here when came a rush
brought a smile right to my face
its 1 AM this days been long
its time I go to bed
I'll close this out with a new song
that just popped in my head

So our Jessica I see, is quite the sinister one
I can almost hear her laughing while she's having fun
she gets them unsuspecting and does a little victory dance
be careful dear jess you don't spill it in your pants
that would cause some kind of embarrassing itch
in fact if you ask me I think it would be a downright b!t$#

Jess your so creative with your potions and such
how bout creating a poem, it wouldn't take much
surely you can write something off the wall like us
come on and join in move to the front of the bus

My hat for today, is Miss Tekky Two Shoes
I'm learning 'bout Plugins, and VST
Seems to me, its like ESP
So many 'don'ts', and even more 'does'.

Its all quite confusing, but what do I care
Too many unknowns, can mess up your hair
At least I've still got some -
This could turn it grey
But that wouldn't matter
Or stand in my way
'Cos if I get stuck
Or land in the muck
I'll send out a call (please pass me the gravy),
And Tekker and Co, will come here to save me.

The first hurdle I crashed into
Was to download a plugin
But hadn't quite realised
You need somewhere to plug in
A plug-in.......in (to)

Miss Tekky Two Shoes
are they on the wrong feet
I know they are yours
but is the left a repeat...{two left feet LOL}

if you using audacity
for the recording you do
your right about needing
a place to plug to

In windows programs
there you will see
a folder named
yes Audacity

open it up
look at the list
plugins you will see
wipe away your mist

insert your new toys
into this little file
and soon you will enjoy
the fx type of smile

Guess what, its not easy
I did what they said
I have 'enabler' boulder (its a rhyming thing)
In Audacity Plugin folder
Then also the plugin
They said that would do it
But at Audacity page
(I'm feeling my age)
Nothing new is in site
Try as I might

No rhyme this time hope thats fine

not sure if I understood what you were saying..
you need to open your downloaded fx, unzip if needed and place the ny, or dll file in the plugin folder

heres the audacity folder opened
aud folder.jpg

heres the plugins folder opened
plug folder.jpg

see the file ext's of "ny" & "dll" in plugin's folder, thats what needs to be inserted in this folder, then it should show in audacities fx section...I don't use audacity anymore and don't know if things have changed any since, but this should do it.

PS: you may have to restart to see it.

Thank you Kenny, I did all that
Took me all day
And then knocked me flat
But nothing new in my fx list -
They have a forum, I'm going to ask
Perhaps Aud Enabler won't support this task.

Carol, I don't know what else to say
I'm off to bed it's been a long day
hopefully by morning I'll see it's ok
and to the fx world you'll be on your way

Kenny's sleeping peacefully
Carols turned all tech.
I've messed around
The song is done now
Hope it's not a total wreck
Just Acapella sound effects
Clicky guitar part of the set
It's quite mad fits the lyrics
I've gone overboard
With all kinds of tricks
So I've given it the name
He's off his Trolley Mix
It's really quite bizarre
It's been pushed very far
Somewhat to extremes
It kind of frightened me
So I left out the screams
It's quite experimental
More of nightmares
Than of dreams
It sounds strange and wrong
It's probably how Dali would sound
If his art was put to song

I admire you you've got some guts
You'll probably think I've gone nuts
I'm experimenting with sounds
So it will have it's ups and downs
But I'm learning all the time
That audio is quite sublime

Geez, that was weird right from the outset
Made the cat jump, clean off the bed!
That swirl had me in a terrible twirl
Couldn't find my feet, let alone my head!

I couldn't hear the words too well
Though I heard your voice, and that was swell
Insane was how I'd like to put it
Your atavar also makes you look it.

I'm kinda stunned, my head's in whirl
In fact my hair has lost its curl
I may have to use some sea-sick tabs
If you spend much more time, in tekky labs.

I wasn't going to post it
Some words were lost a bit
My Wife could hear them all
But my son just heard the chorus
Which I found very strange
My son he might be sane
And my Wife very deranged
The vocal is recorded twice
One track turned inside out
That may be why some can hear
And others can hear nowt
I know it was quite weird
But the start catches you out
I hope your cats ok
Health guideline were not met
Don't want no feline breakdowns
Or visits to the Vet
Hope your Cat recovers
And has a peaceful night
Please accept apologies
For giving you a fright

Wow Chris is all I can say
when you trip out you go all the way
the jury's out don't know how long
to get a verdict on this song{?}
seems very fitting for asylum rooms
please do tell what'd ya use for fumes
I myself couldn't make out much
when it comes to insane you have the touch
as to Carol's cat who gives a hoot
if this didn't kill it there's always her boot
