Alas dear Knight
It was not me
That penned those words above
The credit goes to our dear Kenny
His song of un-requited love.
I also fear that in your rush
Of poetic joy and brotherly love
You forgot to mention dear Aunt Dot
Whose words are lush (and sometimes hot).
They lift our spirits to join the Dove
Of Peace and harmony of our Lot
(And help us focus if we lose the plot).
I must say Chris, you do impress
Your harping really is the best.
Perhaps you'll tell us how to learn
To play like that I've always yearned.
(Note to self: Rhyming couplet warning!)
I always wanted to ask LC
But somehow never did
Always something else to learn-
I still can't make a vid.
Kenny, that song is really great
I think it has potential
I think that for the chorus part
A different tune is quite essential
(I don't really think its essential but the rhymes prevail over almost everything)
A different melody line would lift
And give the song more interest
The way a gear change can uplift
The drivers on the midnight shift.
(Note to self: second rhyming couplet violation!)
It's nice to see that Kirk's on board
Though p'rhaps you did not notice
He's not been back, perhaps he scored
That extra beer- or more.....
Likely, found a better motive!
There's one thing that I find quite strange
It seems that all the others here
See on their screens a lesser range
Of posts per page.!?....but never fear
The remedy's quite simple
Just go to User CP options where,
'Posts per page' is easily changed.
I have at all times spread before me
Forty posts per page!
I must say, it helps me keep perspective-
(Important in one of my old age).
I think all you of limited view
Should really make the change
It gives me such a sense of freedom
From the rigours of the smaller page.
It's also in your own best interest
At the very least, to
try to keep up!
I think that if you make the effort
You'll want to raise the toasting cup.
