Thanks again all. I'll be 67 soon and have been playing on and off--mostly off-- since I was a teenager. I retired in 1999 and to fill up my time I started playing music more often. I bought a better guitar, a Takamine, which sounded really good to me when I tried it. Even better that a Taylor I tried at the same time. I know that if I had tried a different takamine and a different taylor, just the opposite may have happened.
Ageing takes away the playing speed and dexterity but not the love of playing, nor the appreciation for the encouragement I get.
Someone asked about tabs for my songs. Sorry. I don't do tabs. Actually I had never heard about the tablature method of music notation until just a few years ago. Ignorance was/is bliss.
