Could use some more info...are these written above the staff/tab lines? are they like "key/foot notes" written near the bottom?
Just a guess, but maybe its like a chord sheet with the 1 being the one chord of the Key of D and the other for a key change to G?
maybe you could make a little diagram of how its written out.
