PlaneTalk arives in the mail. I'm really hoping it will set me in the right direction. I find there is just too much info out there and it is hard to figure out what to learn and where to start. I know in my heart there must be a trick because I know people that have almost no theory but can improvise all over the fretboard. My Father can do this but he has no idea how to teach me. He plays completly by ear and can't read a single note or tab, but can figure out almost any tune. I don't expect PlaneTalk to make me like him but if there is a trick to knowing where you are at all times it will be a giant leap further then I am now.
