Thanks for the feedback eddiez, I think I'm slowly getting on top of my recording issues but I haven't really had a go at mixing at all, at the moment I just play and sing at the same time and lay down one track, would it be more sensible to do the vocal and guitar tracks seperately, my Wife thinks I'm holding back a bit on my vocals and she thinks this particular song needs a bit more attitude, so I'll have to work on that.
