I'm not quite sure what you mean by the above.

I'll offer the same advice I do to any question about "strum patterns" - don't get too hung up on it. If 10 different guitarists were to play that song, we'd all play/strum/sing it differently. The more accomplished guitarists would be able to add some fancy flourishes to it, where a beginner may strum it as all straight downstrokes on the beats. IMO it's better to watch/listen to/learn the song and get an idea of how the song goes, then play it how it sounds best to you (and how you can play it according to your abilities).....don't worry about using the exact same strum patterns that somebody else used. As you play the song and get more comfortable with the chord changes and flow of the song, you can alter how you strum it and "fancy it up" some.
