What "dead" strings sound like

Sorry to ugly up the forum with this but since my regular guitar is in the shop for awhile I got the idea to rummage through the storage room and dig out my sucky old Harmony and play it. It is about 55 years old and has been put away for many years. It's the one I'm holding in my Avatar and that photo was made in the late sixties.

So here is what really dead strings sound like. If you can't stand it I'll understand if you click it off and move on.

Thanks Jomi. Re. the title, actually I used an acronym with the first letter of each word in the title. Sorry for the confusion.

Nice job as always Chammon... You are one of my forum favourites. Love that style and how those fingers seem to bounce along almost like they knew what they were doing!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
