Honestly, I think being blind would probably make it easier to the learn the guitar. All your other senses are heightened, and that may actually make the process quicker. You won't have the crutch of looking at the fretboard when you're starting out, but I forced myself to not do that anyways.

That's a fair point experiment as the other senses would be heightened, I think when he used to be asked about being blind and playing the guitar Jose never made a big deal about it, he is still a remarkable man though and I think just born to play guitar, God works in mysterious ways, giving with one hand and taking with another, when I hit a bad patch I do think of people like Jose and Django Reinhardt who have overcome adversity to play guitar and it always puts me back on the right track
