That's a fair point experiment as the other senses would be heightened, I think when he used to be asked about being blind and playing the guitar Jose never made a big deal about it, he is still a remarkable man though and I think just born to play guitar, God works in mysterious ways, giving with one hand and taking with another, when I hit a bad patch I do think of people like Jose and Django Reinhardt who have overcome adversity to play guitar and it always puts me back on the right track
