Being an old fart, I had to look this one up on You tube first (didn't know whether Life house was the name of the song or the band!!) - but, it's a simple strum - if you listen to the song, whewre the drum comes in with the steady back beat - that's your main down stroke; now; if you just let your wrist relax and let the pick hit the strings with slightly less emphasis up and down 3 times and I would say it's more DuDUDu (the little 'u's are just to get the pick back) you'll find the rythmn comes naturally...
As to the chords, I looked it up on Ultimate and thought the very first tab (with INFO & 166 votes) is probably closest to what you want, however, there is always more than one way to play a song, in this one the trick is get that base note of each chord on each major beat (as above), so you might get away with simplified versions of those chords if its easier for you to play...
