take a look at Kirks version of it in the free lessons for ideas. It is awkward playing
slide at the first fret, particularly the high strings. Try moving the whole thing up an octive or changing the key. Look at the chords for note choices over more strings instead of just the first 2 strings. Add bass notes also for interest. Once you have that down play with , forgive the pun, grace notes to add interest. If you have the P.T. book, this should not be too hard to do..You could also google for the tune. It is a very much played tune so you should be able to find countless examples of it in many styles and tuninigs. I heard it played on bagpipes once. cool. Hope that helps.
