Eddie, any closer to moving to a ranch???????? You know you want to!
Hi Carol, I was always obsessed with horses but my parents wouldn't pay for lessons, so I got a job in a riding stable when I was 16 and taught myself to ride, they wouldn't buy me a guitar either so I had to do that myself as well, my Mum always says she bought me up to be survivor but in reality I didn't have much choice as they weren't home much and never showed much interest in anything I did (sorry bit deep)
I've done some show jumping but I spent most of my career, foaling mares, looking after stallions and breaking in yearlings which was great fun but hard work, where I live now has stables and it's a rescue home for abused and neglected horses and ponies, I help out sometimes but I don't ride much these days.
It's funny how a song can hit a nerve sometimes taking you to a happy place sometimes a sad place.

If a Songwriter can do this they've really hit a home run, so Kudos to Eddiez for writing this, it is very good and great to listen to
