Interesting, Chris. I was obsessed with horses when I was a kid, and wanted to be what we called in those days a 'Red Indian' and finally (aged 7) managed to persuade my parents that the money they wasted on ballet lessons (ugh!) would be much better spent on riding lessons which they amazingly forked out for for years. Didn't get my own horse until I left home and then did a lot of show jumping. I miss riding even now, but guitar is good too (and safer).
