I finally found the amp I've been looking for: A Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. It sings!! I can plug my Strat straight in, no effects whatsoever, and it sounds better than anything I've ever played through. I love it! I bought it yesterday, brand new, and I've been rattling the windows ever since ... in fact I think I'll do it some more.
Beautiful sound, beautiful playing. Tone doesn't get much better than that.
Now I wonder what my Washburn would sound like through that amp?
If I send one end of my lead to you thro' the mail would you plug it in and hit record?
Geoff I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she left me before we met.
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
