New Rules on Posting Links to Soundclick - please read

When we removed the allowance to post copyrighted tunes on the forum, we changed the rules to allow members to link to their Soundclick pages so that they could still receive feedback on their playing.

Now it seems that many members are linking to Soundclick for both their original and copyrighted recordings.

As anyone who uses Soundclick knows, there is a chart system that is very competitive amongst some SoundClick members. We do not want this forum to become a place where tunes are posted so that members can boost their chart rankings at Soundclick, therefore we are no longer allowing links to Soundclick for original recordings or recordings that are listed as public domain.

This means, if you want to post the occasional cover song for feedback on Soundclick, this is acceptable, but if you have original recordings or recordings that are in the public domain, please upload them here on the forum.

We need to do this to make things fair and to deter members from using this forum to boost their rankings on Soundclick and other chart based sites.

Thanks for your understanding.

The Guitar for Beginners Moderating Team.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
