Toneport UX2 and Cakewalk (please help)

Hello Guys,

I hope everybody is doing great. I have a couple of questions regarding my recording interface. I have Ableton that came with my TP UX2 and it is working fine but i stop using it because i can only record (and use) 4 tracks. It says i need to upgrade but i don't have the money. Is there anything to solve this?

Also, I have Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 (a friend gave it to me). This works fine but the problem is that i can't record anything coming out of the TP UX2. The only way it will let me record is with my camera. How can i record?

i have been doing this for hours and i can't solve this issue

Please Help

Thanks

You must attach your Toneport with computer with USB connection, then in Cakewalk, in audio preferences enable signal that comes from UX.
Then choose to use this audio input and output, and finaly record or listen through Toneport.

You must check your manual guide PDF on CD you have with Toneport since there is chapter "how to use Toneport with Cakewalk (Sonar)". This can be veeeery usefull.

You also have online support on line6.com site, but you must be logged in. it's free although!

We can't lost, 'cause we don't know where we're oing

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
