Hey Kirk, August here
Wow, I sure do know what you are going through right now. To make a terribly long story as short as I can, my family and I endured a bit of a flood in our home, last January, due to a frozen water pipe and it took out our ceilings, walls, floors...the works! In any case, we had been staying (living) at the Ramada Inn since Feb of this year and just returned home, at the beginning of this month. Anything and everything that could have gone wrong with contractors, plumbers, painters, etc, did. What a nightmare.
Luckily for us we have good insurance and in the end it all worked out, but man you sure do meet up with the most incompetant individuals, that actually have the nerve to call themselves professionals.
Anyway, I hope your situation clears up a whole lot sooner than ours did. Oh and I really enjoyed the first part of Maple Leaf Rag. I know and play this piece well, but I love your versuib a hell of a lot more. Your version sounds alot more on the money than mine. I still say that you are the baddest guitar player on the planet and hope to hear more about you and your playing in the states. You always inspire Kirk. Thanks. We'll talk again.
