How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D DVD by Kirk Lorange
If you really want to spice up your playing, slip a slide over your pinkie and add it to your musical vocabulary. There's no need to re-tune your guitar to an open tuning, just stay in standard or lower that bass string down to D. Kirk shows you how in this 70 minute DVD, talking and playing you through the basics, vibrato, muting, playing single note lines, finding all the chord flavors (they're all there!) and mixing it all into one very neat hybrid style of playing guitar. I lied ... a fresh one ... Drop-D-elicious :)
This is one hot off the presses. - Washburn WI66 Goldtop w/Lollars in Drop-D (Left)
- G&L Legacy w/Fralin bridge (Right)
- Washburn WI62 (Rhythm)
- Yamaha Bass
- Jamstix2 (first attempt on drums with release 2)
Drop-D-elicious
I threw this together today from scratch ... using Drop-D tuning ... highlighting the new pickups. Lollars are bridge pickup w/tones on about 4. Fralin with G&L middle pickup in notch position ... less quack but I like the tone.

thanks ... started working with Jamstix2 in the morning and before I knew it I had a slide tune. The P-90s are a fun ride! I recommend them.

Thanks for listening to my slide stuff ... Now I'm done with the rapid fire slide tunes. Maybe a bit more later. I got some new drum software to figure out ... then I might do some more original stuff.
