  Kirk's "Plane Talk"

I'm over half-way through "Plane Talk" and I feel a need to publicly plug this book. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I have the DVD but didn't use it yet.

I've been playing for about 5 years, started at 32, and I can tell already that this is just what I needed. Honestly, I play everyday. I can count on my fingers the days I haven't played in the past five years. I've been "stealing" from Kirk's site for about three years now, and though I paid for the book, I feel I'm still robbing him.

About the book: It's format, eavesdropping on this discussion between Kirk and the guy on the plane, is easy to follow. It's not just another lesson, but, a discussion where your questions are anticipated and answered. I know the guitar neck better now, and music itself.

Thanks Kirk.

Perry

Hi Perry,

I agree, I class myself as a beginner. And even though PlaneTalk isn't pitched at me. I have learnt and continue to learn heaps from each review of the DVD and the book.

I reckon it's the best book on guitar I've got on my shelf. And I've got about 20 now!

Cheers
Makn

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
