Thanks guys! You're right Kirk, it's definitely starting to pay off. I'm more motivated now to improve. You like that tone? I thought it sounded meaty as well. Good dirty blues. I picked up my acoustic for the first time in a while yesterday, and it felt so strange since I've been noodlin on the lectric for weeks now. Going to practice what I've been doing on electric on the acoustic for a while to get the techniques more fluent.

My picking is getting a lot better, both alternate and sweeping and regular. When I was playing the rythm, occasionally I would get off tempo and screw up the beat. You guys have any advice on keeping the picking concise and clean without losing a beat? What I mean is, it seems at times I start with a down stroke and for a while it will do that but any slight change in rythm will throw me off. For example, if I had been downstroking a part and all of a sudden I end up upstroking it I lose it lol.

I'm sure you can tell a couple times on the rythm especially. I've been doing spider exercises and chromatic exercises but I still can't seem to figure out how to adapt when I change it up a bit.
