Hi Knight46, I went to render then pasted the DLL when reaper requested what I would like to use, if you could tell me which folder you put it into I could try that, like you say I might have to try a few before I get it right, I was going to use Audacity and use your method if all else failed. Thanks for responding Knight appreciated, I might spend the evening going through the Reaper Manual again, I think perfecting recording could be harder than learning guitar but it's good fun playing around with the effects
